Machined from steel, it features a straight fitting shape with a 24-degree flared angle and an NPTF threaded end sized at 1/8 inch. The connector accepts 3/16 inch tube OD and delivers a maximum working pressure of 6,000 psi, making it suited for demanding fluid power and pneumatic line applications. With an overall length of 1.09 inches and a hex size of 0.44 inches, the fitting installs cleanly in tight plumbing runs where reliable bite-type tube grip is required. This fitting is used in industrial, commercial, and OEM fluid power assemblies where tube connections must hold rated pressure without flaring the tube end. On initial make-up, the fitting requires a controlled number of turns past finger-tight to set the ferrule bite into the tube wall — follow the fitting manufacturer assembly procedure for proper ferrule pre-set. Do not over-torque the NPTF thread, as this is a dry-seal form that relies on thread interference rather than a sealant bead for leak-free performance.
