The PARKER PR5850 is a 50-foot rubber water hose built for demanding trade and commercial water service applications. Constructed from black EPDM rubber, this hose resists abrasion and weathering across a wide range of operating conditions. It handles a maximum working pressure of 125 psi and a maximum working temperature of 180 degrees F, making it suitable for hot and cold water delivery. The 5/8-inch inner diameter pairs with standard 3/4-inch GHT (Garden Hose Thread) fittings. Multiple textile plies reinforce the hose wall for strength and durability under sustained pressure. Plumbers, irrigation contractors, and facility maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this hose.
The PR5850 is suited for residential and light commercial water supply runs, washdown stations, and general water transfer applications where a durable, full-length hose is required. The 50-foot length covers extended runs without coupling splices. The 3/4-inch GHT thread connection is compatible with standard spigots, hose bibs, and threaded fittings common in plumbing and irrigation layouts. The EPDM construction holds up in outdoor installations exposed to UV, ozone, and seasonal temperature swings, though this hose is not rated for all-season freeze protection.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install water hose for standard 3/4-inch GHT plumbing and irrigation connections in residential and light commercial water service applications.
Shut off the water supply and relieve line pressure before disconnecting or connecting the hose. Hand-tighten GHT fittings and use an appropriate wrench for a final snug fit — do not overtighten, as this can damage the thread or fitting seat. Inspect both end fittings and the hose body for kinks, abrasion, or damage before placing in service. Installation should follow applicable plumbing codes, including IPC guidelines for water supply hose assemblies.
