The PARKER PPB6MC6-MG is a push-to-connect tube-to-pipe connector fitting designed for fast, tool-free tube connections in fluid handling and pneumatic systems. The fitting accepts 3/8 inch OD tubing on the push-connect end and threads into a 3/8 inch NPTF port on the pipe side. Constructed from black polypropylene, it is rated for service up to 150 psi. The push-to-connect mechanism allows a technician to seat the tube with a single straight push, reducing installation time compared to traditional compression or barb fittings. This connector is sold as a single unit.
This fitting is suited for light-duty fluid transfer, irrigation, pneumatic control lines, and general-purpose plumbing applications where polypropylene construction is compatible with the media being conveyed. It is commonly installed in residential and light commercial settings wherever a quick inline connection between a tube run and an NPT-threaded port is needed. The black color and polypropylene body make it appropriate for applications where metal fittings are not required and chemical resistance of the base polymer is sufficient.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation connector for systems using 3/8 inch OD tubing and 3/8 inch NPTF threaded ports in pneumatic or fluid transfer applications.
Installation is performed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, or irrigation specialists working with push-connect fittings. Before installing, shut off fluid or air supply and depressurize the line completely. Ensure the tubing end is cut square and deburred before inserting into the push-connect collet. Verify that the tubing OD and thread specifications match the port before pressurizing the system, and confirm that polypropylene is chemically compatible with the conveyed media.
