The PARKER PPB4MES2-MG is a push-to-connect male swivel elbow tube fitting designed for tube-to-pipe connections in pneumatic and fluid handling systems. Constructed from black polypropylene, it handles working pressures up to 150 psi and connects 1/4-inch OD tubing to a 1/8-inch NPTF male thread. The swivel design allows the pipe thread end to rotate during installation, reducing stress on the tubing and making it easier to align connections in tight spaces. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals install this fitting where a 90-degree directional change is needed without compromising line integrity.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic control lines, instrument air, water, and compatible fluid systems where polypropylene construction is appropriate. The push-to-connect mechanism allows fast, tool-free tube insertion and secure retention without ferrules or compression nuts. It is commonly used in control panels, pneumatic actuator lines, and low-pressure plumbing assemblies where 1/8-inch NPTF ports are present. The 90-degree elbow configuration is ideal for routing tubing along enclosure walls or around obstacles.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement push-to-connect fitting for systems using 1/4-inch OD tubing and 1/8-inch NPTF male pipe ports in pneumatic or low-pressure fluid applications.
Depressurize and de-energize the system fully before removing or installing any push-to-connect fitting. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and that the outer diameter is within specification before inserting into the fitting to achieve a proper seal. Thread the NPTF male end into the mating port by hand first, then tighten to avoid cross-threading. Follow applicable plumbing and pneumatic codes, including IPC and applicable OSHA guidelines, for pressure system service.
