The PARKER PP8TEU8 is a push-to-connect tube plug fitting designed to seal off open tubing ends in fluid handling and pneumatic systems. Constructed from polypropylene with an EPDM O-ring, this fitting accepts 1/2 inch OD tubing and holds a rated working pressure of 150 psi. Installation requires no tools or thread sealant — the tubing seats and locks in a single push, making it a fast, reliable choice for plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial pipe fitters working with compatible tube lines. The white polypropylene body resists corrosion and is well suited for water service and low-pressure pneumatic applications.
This plug fitting is used to terminate or cap an open tube end in residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC, and fluid distribution systems. Typical install scenarios include capping unused ports on manifolds, isolating a branch line during system modification, or plugging tubing during staged commissioning. The push-to-connect design makes it practical in tight spaces where wrenching a threaded cap is not feasible.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect plug for use with 1/2 inch OD tubing in plumbing, HVAC, and fluid distribution systems where polypropylene fittings are specified.
Installation is performed by plumbers or HVAC technicians following applicable IPC and system-specific pressure ratings. Before installing or removing this fitting, depressurize and drain the line to eliminate residual system pressure. Ensure tubing ends are cut square, deburred, and free of debris before seating in the fitting. To release the fitting, depress the release collar while withdrawing the tubing.
