The PARKER PP6VMC6-MG is a male connector bi-directional manual ball valve designed for 3/8 inch pipe installations requiring a full port, quarter-turn shutoff. The polypropylene body resists corrosion and chemical attack, making it well suited for potable water and food-grade fluid systems. A wedge-style handle provides positive open and close indication. The EPDM seals maintain a reliable shutoff up to 150 psi and 10 bar working pressure. This valve is rated for a minimum working temperature of 35 degrees F. It is installed by licensed plumbers and mechanical contractors in both residential and light commercial applications where a compact inline shutoff is needed.
The PP6VMC6-MG is intended for plumbing and fluid distribution systems where a full port ball valve is required to minimize pressure drop. The MNPT x Push-To-Connect end configuration allows one end to thread directly onto a male NPT fitting while the push-to-connect side accepts 3/8 inch outside diameter tubing without additional tools or fittings. This makes it a practical choice for water treatment lines, RO systems, ice maker supply lines, and similar low-to-medium pressure water service installations.
Designed for use with 3/8 inch outside diameter push-to-connect tubing on the PTC end and standard 3/8 inch MNPT threaded fittings on the male connector end. Suitable for potable water, food-grade fluid, and other compatible low-to-medium pressure applications where NSF-61 and NSF-51 compliance is required.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC requirements. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before installing or servicing this valve. Apply thread sealant tape to the MNPT connection as required by local code; do not overtighten the threaded end, as polypropylene threads can crack under excessive torque. Ensure the push-to-connect tubing is cut square and fully seated to achieve a proper seal.
