The PARKER PP6VFC4-MG is a female connector bi-directional manual ball valve designed for 1/4-inch pipe connections in fluid control applications. Built with a polypropylene body and EPDM seals, this valve handles a wide range of compatible media without corrosion concerns common to metal-bodied valves. The full-port design maintains maximum flow capacity through the valve seat, reducing pressure drop across the fitting. A wedge-style handle provides positive, tactile shutoff confirmation. The MNPT x push-to-connect end configuration allows fast, tool-free tube attachment on one side while threading to standard male NPT fittings on the other. Licensed plumbing and mechanical contractors install this valve in process piping, water treatment, and HVAC fluid-handling systems.
This valve is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, hydronic, and process fluid systems where a compact inline shutoff is required at a 1/4-inch pipe junction. The push-to-connect end accepts 3/8-inch OD tubing, making it compatible with common PTC tubing used in water filtration, reverse osmosis, ice maker, and similar low-pressure fluid circuits. The MNPT male thread connection integrates directly with standard NPT-threaded ports and manifolds.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation shutoff valve for 1/4-inch pipe systems using MNPT threaded ports and 3/8-inch OD push-to-connect tubing in plumbing, water treatment, and fluid-handling applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified mechanical technician in accordance with applicable IPC or local plumbing codes. Shut off system pressure and relieve any residual line pressure before installing or removing the valve. Apply thread sealant tape to the MNPT threads per standard practice and do not overtighten the threaded connection in polypropylene-bodied fittings. Confirm the push-to-connect tubing is cut square and fully seated before pressurizing the system.
