The PARKER PP6TU4 is a push-to-connect union tee tube fitting designed for tube-to-tube connections in fluid handling and distribution systems. Constructed from polypropylene with a tan color finish, this tee accepts 3/8-inch OD tubing on one port and 1/4-inch OD tubing on the remaining port, enabling a three-way branch without tools or ferrules. Rated to 150 psi, it is suitable for low-pressure pneumatic and liquid service lines. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid system installers use push-to-connect fittings where quick assembly and reliable sealing are required. The fitting weighs approximately 0.03 pounds.
This fitting is commonly used in residential and light commercial applications including water treatment equipment, RO system tubing runs, HVAC condensate lines, and pneumatic control circuits that use small-diameter polyethylene or nylon tubing. Its push-to-connect design speeds up installation in tight spaces where wrenching conventional compression fittings is impractical. The polypropylene body resists many common chemicals, making it appropriate for potable water and mild chemical service lines where metal fittings are not required.
Designed as a push-to-connect replacement or new-installation fitting for systems using 3/8 inch OD and 1/4 inch OD small-diameter tubing in low-pressure fluid or pneumatic service.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified HVAC and instrumentation technicians. Before servicing any line, shut off the fluid or air supply and relieve system pressure completely. Ensure tubing ends are cut square and free of burrs before insertion — irregular cuts can compromise the internal collet seal and cause leaks. Verify the tubing material and wall thickness are compatible with push-to-connect collet fittings before final assembly.
