The PARKER PP6FC4 is a push-to-connect tube-to-pipe connector fitting designed for quick, tool-free tube connections in fluid transfer and pneumatic systems. Molded from polypropylene, this fitting accepts 3/8 inch OD tubing and transitions to a 1/4 inch NPTF male pipe thread. It is rated to 150 psi and suited for low-pressure plumbing, irrigation, water treatment, and general fluid handling applications. The tan polypropylene construction resists corrosion and is compatible with a range of non-aggressive fluids. Plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians install this fitting where a fast, reliable tube-to-pipe connection is needed without soldering or crimping.
This fitting is commonly used in residential and light commercial plumbing, water filtration systems, reverse osmosis assemblies, ice maker lines, and pneumatic control circuits. It is appropriate anywhere 3/8 inch OD poly or compatible tubing must connect to a 1/4 inch NPTF threaded port. The push-to-connect mechanism allows for quick field assembly and reduces installation time compared to compression or barbed alternatives.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect replacement or new-installation connector for systems using 3/8 inch OD tubing and 1/4 inch NPTF threaded ports in low-pressure plumbing and fluid handling applications.
Installation is performed by plumbers, pipefitters, or qualified HVAC technicians. Shut off and depressurize the fluid or air line before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure the tube end is cut cleanly and squarely and is free of burrs before inserting into the push-to-connect collet. Hand-thread the NPTF male end into the mating port and tighten appropriately per system requirements; apply thread sealant tape or compound as required by applicable plumbing codes such as the IPC.
