The PARKER PP6FA7 is a push-to-connect faucet adapter fitting designed to make fast, tool-free tube connections at faucet ports in water supply and filtration systems. The fitting accepts 3/8-inch OD tubing and uses a 7/16-24 UNS-2B thread for the faucet-side connection. Constructed from polypropylene, it is rated for up to 150 psi and carries a tan color for easy identification. Plumbers, water treatment installers, and refrigerator or ice machine technicians commonly use this type of adapter when transitioning from threaded faucet fittings to push-to-connect tubing runs.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial water supply applications, including undersink filtration systems, reverse osmosis installations, and similar low-pressure water distribution setups. It eliminates the need for compression ferrules or additional fittings at the faucet connection point, reducing assembly time on new installs and service calls alike. The 3/8-inch OD push-to-connect end is compatible with standard polyethylene or nylon tubing of the same outer diameter.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation adapter for faucet fittings with a 7/16-24 thread accepting 3/8-inch OD push-to-connect tubing, typical of residential undersink filtration and reverse osmosis systems.
Installation is performed by plumbers or water treatment technicians. Shut off the water supply and relieve line pressure before disconnecting or installing any fittings. Ensure tubing is cut square and fully seated into the push-to-connect collet before pressurizing the system. Verify thread engagement on the faucet port is secure and leak-free before returning the system to service.
