The PARKER PP4VUC6-MG is a union connector bi-directional manual ball valve designed for full-port flow control in plumbing and fluid handling systems. The polypropylene body accepts push-to-connect fittings on both ends, with tube outside diameters of 1/4 x 3/8 inches, making connection and disconnection straightforward without additional tooling. A wedge handle provides positive open and close indication. Rated at 150 psi working pressure and certified to NSF-51 and NSF-61 standards, this valve is suited for potable water and food-contact fluid applications. Licensed plumbers and water treatment technicians are the primary installers.
This valve is used in residential and light commercial water treatment systems, filtration assemblies, and similar fluid handling installations where a serviceable shutoff with union-style disconnection is required. The bi-directional design allows flow in either direction, reducing installation errors. The push-to-connect ends make it compatible with standard tubing used in reverse osmosis, water filtration, and related systems. The full-port configuration minimizes pressure drop across the valve body.

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in compliance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before removing or installing any valve. Verify minimum operating temperature does not drop below 35 degrees F, as lower temperatures are outside the rated range of this valve.
