The PARKER PP4VME6-MG is a male elbow bi-directional manual ball valve designed for 3/8 inch pipe connections in fluid control applications. It features a full port design that minimizes flow restriction and supports bi-directional flow, making it suitable for both supply and return lines. The valve uses an MNPT x Push-To-Connect end configuration, allowing quick, tool-free tube attachment on one end and a threaded male NPT connection on the other. The polypropylene body keeps weight low while providing resistance to common chemicals encountered in plumbing and HVAC hydronic systems. An EPDM seal provides reliable shut-off across a range of compatible fluids.
This valve is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, hydronic heating, water treatment, and fluid distribution systems where a compact elbow-style valve with push-to-connect convenience is needed. The 90-degree male elbow body orientation simplifies installations in tight spaces or where a directional change in the line is required. The wedge-style handle allows for straightforward open and closed positioning and is easy to operate in confined areas. It is compatible with 1/4 inch outside diameter tubing on the push-to-connect end.
Designed for use with 1/4 inch outside diameter tubing on the push-to-connect port and 3/8 inch male NPT threaded connections. Suitable as an OEM-style or replacement valve in plumbing, hydronic, and fluid handling systems requiring an elbow ball valve configuration.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified trade professional in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off system pressure and depressurize the line before installing or removing the valve. Ensure the push-to-connect tubing end is cut cleanly and squarely before insertion to achieve a proper seal. Confirm MNPT threads are sealed with appropriate thread sealant tape or compound rated for the fluid and pressure in the system.
