The PARKER PP4VME4-MG is a male elbow bi-directional manual ball valve designed for 1/4 inch pipe connections in plumbing and fluid distribution systems. It features a full port design with MNPT x Push-To-Connect end connections, allowing inline flow control with minimal restriction. The polypropylene body keeps the valve lightweight and resistant to corrosion, while EPDM seals maintain integrity across a working temperature range starting at 35 degrees F. Rated to 150 psi, this valve is suited for low-pressure water and compatible fluid lines. A wedge-style handle provides quick quarter-turn shutoff. Plumbers, water treatment technicians, and irrigation professionals are the primary installers.
This valve is well suited for residential and light commercial water systems where a compact elbow configuration saves installation space. The push-to-connect end simplifies connections to 1/4 inch OD tubing without the need for compression fittings or solder. Its bi-directional design means flow direction does not need to be matched during installation. NSF-51 and NSF-61 certifications make it appropriate for potable water applications and food-equipment water supply lines where material safety standards are required.
Designed for use with 1/4 inch OD tubing on push-to-connect end and 1/4 inch MNPT threaded fittings on the male threaded end. Suitable for potable water systems meeting NSF-51 and NSF-61 requirements.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified technician in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure completely before installing or servicing this valve. Ensure the MNPT threads are wrapped with thread seal tape and tightened to hand-tight plus a firm turn to prevent leaks without over-stressing the polypropylene body. Do not exceed the 150 psi maximum working pressure rating.
