The PARKER PP4VFC2-MG is a female connector bi-directional manual ball valve built for fluid control applications in plumbing and process systems. The valve body is constructed from polypropylene with EPDM seals, making it suitable for water and compatible fluid service. It uses a wedge-style handle for positive shutoff and features a full-port design to minimize flow restriction. The push-to-connect end simplifies installation without additional fittings on the tube side, while the MNPT connection provides a standard threaded interface on the pipe side. The valve is rated for up to 150 psi and carries NSF-51 and NSF-61 certifications, qualifying it for potable water contact applications.
This valve is used in residential and light commercial plumbing systems, water treatment installations, and fluid handling equipment where a compact shutoff with push-to-connect convenience is required. The 1/8 inch pipe size and 1/4 inch tube outside diameter suit small-bore line applications. Its bi-directional design allows installation without regard to flow direction, which reduces errors during initial setup or service. Licensed plumbers and fluid system technicians are the primary installers. The NSF-51 and NSF-61 certifications make it appropriate for food equipment and drinking water system applications.
Designed for 1/8 inch pipe and 1/4 inch OD tubing systems using MNPT x Push-To-Connect end connections in potable water, water treatment, or compatible fluid handling applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable IPC or local plumbing code requirements. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before removing any existing valve or fitting. Ensure the push-to-connect tube end is cut cleanly and squarely and inserted fully before pressurizing. Apply thread sealant to the MNPT connection as required and do not exceed the 150 psi maximum working pressure rating.
