Shut off system pressure and depressurize the line before removing or installing push-to-connect fittings. Ensure tubing ends are cut cleanly and squarely with no burrs or debris before insertion, as uneven cuts can compromise the internal collet seal. To release tubing, depress the collet ring evenly while pulling the tube straight back. Polypropylene fittings should not be used on lines carrying compressed gases at elevated temperatures or with solvents incompatible with the base material — verify chemical compatibility before installation.
