The PARKER PP4TPL is a push-to-connect tube fitting plug designed to cap and seal open tube ends in pneumatic and fluid distribution lines. Molded from polypropylene, this plug accepts 1/4 inch outside diameter tubing and holds a rated working pressure of 150 psi. Installation is tool-free: insert the tube end fully into the fitting body until the internal collet grips and seals. The tan polypropylene construction resists many common chemicals and is suitable for low-pressure air and water service lines. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals routinely use push-to-connect plugs to terminate unused ports or isolate sections of tubing during service without draining an entire system.
This plug fitting is used in residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC condensate and drain lines, pneumatic control tubing, and fluid handling manifolds where a quick, reliable tube termination is needed. It is well suited for applications running filtered water, compressed air, or other media compatible with polypropylene at temperatures and pressures within the fitting rating. The compact profile allows installation in tight equipment cabinets and panels.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect plug for use with 1/4 inch outside diameter tubing in pneumatic and fluid distribution systems compatible with polypropylene fittings.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified maintenance technician. Before installing or removing any push-to-connect fitting, depressurize and de-energize the system completely. Ensure the tube end is cut cleanly and squarely with no burrs, and insert the tube to full depth in the fitting body. To release the fitting, depress the collet ring while pulling the tube free.
