The PARKER PP4ME4 is a push-to-connect male elbow tube fitting designed to transition from tubing to a threaded pipe connection at a 90-degree angle. Made from polypropylene, this fitting accepts 1/4 inch OD tubing and connects to a 1/4 inch NPTF male thread. It is rated for 150 psi service and is suited for fluid handling, pneumatic control lines, and instrumentation applications. The push-to-connect design allows tool-free tube insertion for faster assembly in tight spaces. The tan polypropylene construction provides resistance to many common chemicals, making it appropriate for water, air, and mild chemical service lines.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC control tubing, pneumatic signal lines, and process fluid systems where a compact 90-degree direction change is needed. It is commonly installed where a tube run must terminate into a threaded port on a valve, manifold, solenoid, or equipment panel. The 1/4 inch OD by 1/4 inch NPTF configuration is a standard size found in many control and instrumentation setups. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation mechanics typically install this fitting during system assembly or repair.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect fitting for use with 1/4 inch OD tubing terminated to 1/4 inch NPTF threaded ports in pneumatic control, HVAC, and light-duty fluid handling systems.
Shut off system pressure and bleed any residual air or fluid before removing or installing fittings. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely with no burrs before inserting into the push-to-connect collet. Hand-thread the NPTF male end into the receiving port and tighten appropriately per the fitting manufacturer guidelines and applicable plumbing or pneumatic codes. Do not exceed the 150 psi pressure rating or apply the fitting to fluids or chemicals outside the polypropylene compatibility range.
