The PARKER PP-00601 is a barbed push-on hose male connector designed for use in fluid transfer and pneumatic plumbing systems. It features a 3/8-18 male pipe thread on one end and a 3/8-inch barb on the other, allowing a threaded fitting to transition directly to push-on hose connections. Constructed from stainless steel throughout, this connector resists corrosion in wet, chemical, and outdoor service environments. At 1.78 inches in length, it is a compact fitting suited for tight installations. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this type of fitting.
This connector is used in residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC, and industrial fluid systems where a threaded pipe port must connect to a barbed push-on hose. The 3/8-18 male pipe thread is a standard NPT size found on valves, manifolds, pumps, and equipment ports across a wide range of applications. The stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for systems handling water, mild chemicals, or other media that would corrode brass or carbon steel fittings. It is sold individually and is suitable for low to moderate pressure service typical of push-on hose assemblies.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for systems using 3/8-inch inside diameter push-on hose with a 3/8-18 male pipe thread port.
This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers or pipefitters in accordance with applicable IPC and IFGC guidelines for the media and pressure rating of the system. Shut off all fluid supply and depressurize the line before disassembling or installing any threaded fitting. Apply appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male pipe threads before assembly. Do not overtighten; use a wrench on the fitting flats and avoid applying torque to the barb body.
