The PARKER PN250-40 is a male pipe thread extended nipple fitting designed for use in hydraulic hose assemblies and fluid transfer systems. Machined from brass with a straight body profile, this non-valved NPTF fitting carries a maximum working pressure of 200 psi and is rated for temperatures from -20 degrees F to 400 degrees F. The 1/4 inch body diameter pairs with a 1/16 inch NPTF thread, making it a compact, reliable connection point in pressurized coolant and hydraulic circuits. Licensed plumbers and hydraulic system technicians are the typical installers for this type of fitting.
The PN250-40 is part of the Parker Moldmate series, engineered specifically for die casting equipment and mold coolant lines. Its extended nipple design allows for connection in tight or recessed port locations common in mold tooling and cooling manifold setups. The straight configuration simplifies inline plumbing runs where angled fittings are not required. This fitting is sold individually and is suited for low-volume replacement or new build applications in industrial and manufacturing environments.
Designed for use with die casting equipment and mold coolant lines as part of the Parker Moldmate series. Compatible with 1/4 inch hose assemblies using NPTF threaded ports.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or licensed plumber familiar with NPTF threaded fittings and applicable industry standards. Depressurize and drain the system fully before removing or installing any hydraulic or coolant fittings. NPTF threads are designed for dry-seal assembly, but confirm with the system manufacturer whether thread sealant is appropriate for the specific media in use. Inspect threads for damage before installation and do not cross-thread or overtighten.
