The PARKER PF501-02DHSS is a compressed air filter designed to remove fine particulates from pneumatic and process air lines. Rated at 0.3 micron filtration efficiency, it captures submicron contaminants before they reach downstream equipment, instrumentation, or process points. The filter supports a maximum flow rate of 16 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) through a 1/4 in NPT port. Both the bowl and body are constructed from stainless steel, making this unit well suited for corrosive environments or applications where sanitary material requirements apply. It is installed by licensed industrial mechanics, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation technicians working on compressed air systems.
This filter is intended for use in compressed air distribution systems where clean, dry air is critical. Typical applications include pneumatic control lines, process instrumentation supply, and point-of-use filtration in light industrial or commercial facilities. The manual drain allows the technician to purge collected liquid and debris during routine service intervals without removing the bowl assembly. The compact footprint, at 4.0 inches tall and 1.56 inches wide, suits installations in tight control panels or inline runs with limited clearance.
Designed as an OEM-style inline compressed air filter for 1/4 in NPT pneumatic lines in industrial, commercial, and process control applications.
Depressurize and lock out the air supply line before installing or servicing this filter. Apply thread sealant to NPT threads per the fitting manufacturer recommendation and applicable plumbing or pneumatic system codes. Orient the bowl downward to allow proper liquid accumulation and drainage. Inspect and manually drain the bowl at regular service intervals to maintain rated filtration performance.
