The PARKER PF-00086 is a brass swivel 45-degree male elbow push-to-connect tube fitting designed for quick, tool-free tube connections in pneumatic and fluid transfer lines. It accepts 1/2-inch OD tubing on both tube ends and connects to a 1/2-inch male NPT port, providing a 45-degree change in direction with a swivel function that simplifies alignment during installation. Rated to 250 psi maximum working pressure, the fitting handles operating temperatures from -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F. It meets D.O.T. FMVSS571.106, SAE J2494-3, and SAE J844 standards. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid system technicians install this fitting in both mobile and stationary applications.
This fitting is suited for residential and commercial pneumatic plumbing, air brake systems, and fluid transfer lines where a swivel 45-degree elbow is required at an NPT port. The push-to-connect design allows fast field assembly without ferrules, nuts, or thread sealant on the tube side. It is commonly installed in compressed air distribution, vehicle air brake circuits, and other systems requiring DOT-compliant fittings with SAE J844 tubing compatibility. The 15/16-inch hex size provides a standard wrench flat for secure NPT thread engagement.
Designed for use with 1/2-inch OD tubing and 1/2-inch male NPT ports in pneumatic and fluid systems compliant with SAE J844 and D.O.T. FMVSS571.106. Consult the system design specifications to confirm tubing material and pressure ratings before installation.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified fluid systems technician. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing or installing any fitting. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the NPT male threads per system requirements; the push-to-connect tube ports do not require ferrules or compression nuts. Verify tube cut is clean and square and that tubing OD meets SAE J844 tolerances before inserting into the push-to-connect port.
