The PARKER PF-00082 is a push-to-connect swivel 45-degree male elbow tube fitting manufactured in brass. It connects 3/8-inch OD tubing to a 1/4-inch male NPT port with a swivel elbow geometry that allows the NPT thread to be positioned during installation without stressing the tubing. Rated to 250 psi maximum working pressure and tested across a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F, this fitting is built for pneumatic and fluid-transfer plumbing in mobile and stationary equipment. It is sold in a package quantity of 6 units. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid-systems mechanics are the primary installers.
This fitting is suited for pneumatic lines, air-brake tubing, and fluid-transfer applications in both mobile equipment and fixed installations. Its swivel elbow design makes it especially practical in tight routing situations where a fixed-angle fitting would require torquing the tubing or the mating port. The push-to-connect end accepts 3/8-inch OD tubing, and the male NPT end threads into a 1/4-inch female NPT port. Applications span light commercial, industrial, and vehicle service environments where DOT-compliant tubing fittings are specified.
Designed for use with 3/8-inch OD push-to-connect compatible tubing in pneumatic and fluid-transfer systems requiring a 1/4-inch male NPT port connection, per DOT FMVSS571.106, SAE J2494-3, and SAE J844 specifications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with pneumatic or fluid-system plumbing. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing any existing fittings or inserting tubing into the push-to-connect end. Thread the male NPT end into the mating port to the appropriate thread engagement using a wrench on the hex, then rotate the swivel body to the desired tubing angle before locking the assembly. Verify tubing is fully seated in the push-to-connect end and that the system holds pressure without leak before returning to service.
