The PARKER PF-00079 is a brass push-to-connect male swivel branch tee fitting designed for pneumatic and fluid tubing systems. It connects 1/2 inch OD tubing to a 3/8 inch male NPT port using a push-to-connect interface on both tube ends and a swivel branch that allows rotational adjustment during installation. Rated to 250 psi maximum working pressure, this fitting handles service temperatures from -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F. It is built to brass for corrosion resistance and durability in compressed air, refrigeration, and pneumatic brake line applications. Licensed tradespeople working on air brake systems, HVAC refrigerant circuits, or general pneumatic plumbing will commonly specify this type of fitting.
This fitting is suited for light commercial and mobile equipment pneumatic tubing circuits where a tee connection is needed between 1/2 inch OD tube runs and a 3/8 inch MNPT port. The swivel branch feature simplifies routing in tight spaces by allowing the tee leg to be oriented without twisting the tube. It meets D.O.T. FMVSS571.106, SAE J2494-3, and SAE J844 standards, making it appropriate for use in air brake and compressed air supply lines where regulatory compliance is required. Each package contains 2 fittings.
Designed for use with 1/2 inch OD tubing and 3/8 inch MNPT ports in pneumatic, compressed air, and air brake line systems meeting SAE J844 and SAE J2494-3 tubing specifications.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or mobile equipment mechanics depending on the application. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any push-to-connect fitting. Push-to-connect ends require clean, burr-free, square-cut tubing for a proper seal — deburr and verify OD before inserting. Verify thread engagement on the MNPT branch and confirm the swivel is locked in final orientation before pressurizing the system.
