The PARKER pc.3450 is an uninsulated rolled copper tubing coil intended for HVACR refrigerant line applications. Manufactured from UNS C12200 grade copper and produced in the USA, this coil meets ASTM B280 standards — the recognized benchmark for copper tubing used in air conditioning and refrigeration service. The coil measures 3/4 inch outer diameter and comes in a 50-foot pancake coil configuration. It is rated for use with high-pressure refrigerants including R-410A, making it a suitable line set material for modern residential and light commercial systems. HVAC technicians and refrigeration mechanics are the primary installers.
This tubing is designed for refrigerant line applications across a range of system types, including unitary split systems, ductless mini-splits, and VRF heat pump systems. The uninsulated format allows the installer to apply field insulation to match project requirements and local code specifications. The 50-foot coil length is well suited for residential installations and shorter commercial runs where a full 100-foot coil would result in excess waste.
Suitable for use in unitary air conditioning systems, ductless mini-split systems, and VRF heat pump systems requiring ACR copper line sets. Compatible with high-pressure refrigerants such as R-410A.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC or refrigeration technician holding an EPA Section 608 certification. Before connecting to any system, isolate and recover all refrigerant per EPA regulations and follow applicable local mechanical codes. Joints should be brazed using accepted ACR practices — nitrogen should be flowed through the tubing during brazing to prevent internal oxidation scale. Field insulation must be applied after brazing and pressure testing are complete.
