The PARKER P3NFA98DSM is a coalescing filter designed to remove liquid aerosols, water, and fine particulate contamination from compressed air and gas lines. Built around a 0.01 micron filtration rating, it captures submicron oil aerosols and moisture before they reach sensitive downstream equipment, instrumentation, or pneumatic controls. The unit features an aluminum bowl with a manual drain and an integrated sight glass for quick visual inspection of accumulated liquid levels. Rated to 250 psi maximum, it suits demanding industrial compressed air systems where contamination control is critical. This coalescing filter is used in compressed air treatment trains in commercial and industrial facilities, typically installed downstream of a particulate pre-filter and upstream of regulators, dryers, or point-of-use equipment. The 1-inch port size suits medium-flow compressed air headers and branch lines. The P3NF series design makes this unit appropriate for applications where very low residual oil content is required, such as food processing, instrumentation air, spray finishing, and general pneumatic control systems. It is installed in-line with the airflow direction following the directional marking on the body.
