The PARKER P00186 is a steel flared tube union designed for high-pressure hydraulic and fluid power tubing systems. It joins two flared tube ends using a 37-degree flare angle connection on both sides, creating a secure, leak-resistant joint. Rated to 6000 psi maximum working pressure and up to 500 degrees F, this union is built for demanding industrial and fluid-handling applications. With an outside diameter of 3/8 inch and an overall length of 2.18 inches, it is a compact, heavy-duty fitting installed by licensed plumbers, hydraulic technicians, and mechanical contractors.
The P00186 is suited for use in hydraulic lines, fuel systems, and refrigeration or fluid-transfer tubing where a 37-degree flare standard is required. Its Flare x Flare end configuration makes it appropriate for connecting two tube ends within a run without reducing flow path. Typical installations include industrial machinery, mobile hydraulic equipment, and process piping where high-pressure tube connections must meet SAE and ISO flare standards.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 3/8 inch OD tubing systems requiring a 37-degree flare union connection per SAE J514 and ISO 8434-2.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician, plumber, or mechanical contractor. Depressurize and drain all fluid from the line before removing or installing any tube fitting. Inspect flare seats on both tube ends for damage or debris before assembly, as a compromised seat will cause leaks under pressure. Torque to the fitting manufacturer's published specifications for the tube OD and material — do not rely on feel alone for high-pressure hydraulic connections.
