The PARKER P00141 is a steel flared tube connector designed for high-pressure fluid and gas line connections in industrial, HVAC, and plumbing applications. It accepts a 1-inch tube OD with a 37-degree flare seat and connects to a 1-11/2 NPTF (National Pipe Taper Fuel) threaded port. The Flare x NPTF end configuration allows a direct transition from a flared tube line to a tapered pipe thread fitting. Constructed from steel, this connector is rated for dynamic working pressures up to 3000 psi, making it suitable for demanding hydraulic and refrigeration line work. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pipefitters are the typical installers.
This connector is used where a flared tube must terminate at an NPTF port on a valve body, manifold, compressor fitting, or similar equipment. The 37-degree flare angle conforms to the SAE J514 flare standard, which is common in refrigeration, hydraulic, and fuel system plumbing. It is appropriate for both residential and light commercial installations where steel fittings and NPTF threads are specified. Sold in packages of 2.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service fitting for steel flared tube connector applications requiring a 1-inch OD, 37-degree flare seat, and 1-11/2 NPTF thread interface.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or pipefitters. De-pressurize and isolate the line before disassembly, and verify the tube end is properly flared to 37 degrees using a calibrated flaring tool before making up the connection. NPTF threads are designed for dry-seal engagement, but always follow the system manufacturer and applicable code requirements for thread sealant use. Refer to ASME B31 or applicable local piping codes for pressure system assembly requirements.
