The PARKER NV312P-6-4 is an angled needle valve designed for precise flow control in compressed air, fluid, and instrumentation line applications. The valve features a brass body and brass needle, with a Poly-Tite inlet connection on the tube side and a male NPTF threaded outlet. It measures 1.07 inches overall length and 1.68 inches overall height, with a maximum working pressure of 150 psi. The angled configuration simplifies routing in tight spaces. This valve is installed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation mechanics where accurate manual throttling of flow is required.
The NV312P-6-4 is suited for residential and light commercial systems where a 3/8 inch outside diameter tube connects to a 1/4 inch male NPTF pipe fitting. Typical applications include pneumatic control lines, refrigeration instrumentation, and hydraulic instrument tubing assemblies. The angled body style is commonly chosen when straight inline routing is not possible or when panel or manifold mounting requires a directional change at the connection point. Operating temperature range spans 0 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it appropriate for a wide range of HVAC and fluid-handling service conditions.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service valve for instrumentation, pneumatic control, and fluid tubing systems using 3/8 inch outside diameter tubing with a 1/4 inch NPTF male pipe connection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified instrumentation mechanic. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing the existing valve or making any connections. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the NPTF male threads in accordance with system fluid compatibility requirements. Do not overtighten the Poly-Tite fitting connection; follow the fitting manufacturer's turn-count procedure to avoid deforming the tube seat.
