The PARKER NV312P-4-2 is an angled needle valve designed for precise flow control in compressed air, gas, and fluid systems. Constructed with a brass body and brass needle, it connects a 1/4 inch OD tube via a Poly-Tite fitting on one end to a 1/8 inch NPTF male pipe thread on the other. The angled configuration allows installation in tight spaces where inline valves are impractical. At 150 psi maximum working pressure, it handles typical low-pressure pneumatic and instrumentation circuits. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation mechanics install this valve in commercial and industrial control line applications.
This needle valve suits residential and light commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration instrumentation lines, compressed air control circuits, and hydraulic sensing applications where precise throttling of small-diameter tubing is required. The Poly-Tite to male pipe end configuration makes it a direct fit for tubing runs that terminate at threaded pipe ports, such as gauge taps, control valves, and metering circuits. Its compact overall length of 1.07 inches and overall height of 1.53 inches allow installation in confined panel or manifold assemblies.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit needle valve for small-diameter instrumentation and control tubing circuits using 1/4 inch OD tubing terminated at 1/8 inch NPTF male pipe ports.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified instrumentation mechanic. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any valve. NPTF threads are self-sealing by design, but apply thread sealant compatible with the system fluid per IPC and IFGC guidelines where required. Do not overtighten the tube fitting connection on the Poly-Tite end, as brass fittings are susceptible to thread damage under excessive torque.
