The PARKER NV108P-4 is a straight-pattern needle valve designed for precise flow control in fluid and gas systems. The body and needle are both brass construction, offering good corrosion resistance in a compact form factor. It accepts 1/4 inch NPTF female connections on both ends, with an overall length of 1.61 inches and an overall height of 1.56 inches. Rated to 150 psi maximum working pressure, this valve handles service temperatures from -45 degrees F to 250 degrees F. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and refrigeration mechanics install this type of valve where repeatable, fine-tuned flow adjustment is required in low-pressure piping systems.
This needle valve is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a compact, all-brass inline valve is needed for flow regulation or shutoff. Typical install locations include small-diameter process lines, instrument isolation, HVAC controls piping, and refrigeration service ports. The female-by-female NPTF configuration makes it straightforward to thread directly onto male-NPT fittings on both sides without additional adapters in standard NPT-compatible plumbing layouts.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service valve for 1/4 inch NPTF female-threaded piping systems in HVAC, refrigeration, and light fluid-handling applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified refrigeration mechanic. Shut off system pressure and depressurize the line completely before removing or installing any needle valve. Apply thread sealant rated for NPTF connections and the fluid being controlled. Follow applicable plumbing codes, including IPC and IFGC guidelines, for pressure-rated valve installations.
