The PARKER NV107P-2 is a straight-pattern needle valve designed for precise flow control in low-flow fluid and gas systems. The body and needle are both constructed from brass, making this valve well suited for applications where corrosion resistance and moderate pressure ratings matter. It features 1/8 inch NPTF male pipe connections on both ends, an overall length of 1.25 inches, and an overall height of 1.5 inches. Rated to 150 psi maximum working pressure, the NV107P-2 handles system temperatures from -45 degrees F to 250 degrees F. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters install this valve in instrumentation lines, refrigeration circuits, and similar low-volume flow control applications.
The NV107P-2 is intended for straight inline installations requiring throttling or shutoff control in small-bore piping systems. Its compact dimensions make it a practical choice for tight equipment spaces. The NPTF thread type provides a pressure-tight seal without relying solely on thread sealant, which is an advantage in systems where leak integrity is critical. Typical applications include instrument impulse lines, chemical feed lines, HVAC hydronic systems, and refrigeration service ports where a 1/8 inch male-to-male connection is required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation needle valve for 1/8 inch NPTF male-to-male pipe connections in low-flow fluid, gas, and refrigeration control applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician familiar with NPTF threaded connections. Depressurize and isolate the system fully before removing or installing the valve. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to NPTF threads as required by the applicable piping code. Do not exceed the rated 150 psi working pressure or the maximum temperature of 250 degrees F for this valve body material.
