The PARKER NV104C-6-4 is an angled needle valve designed for precise flow control in compressed air, gas, and fluid systems. Built with a brass body and brass needle, it connects a 3/8-inch compression tube end to a 1/4-inch NPTF male pipe end. The angled body orientation simplifies routing in tight spaces where a straight valve would not fit. This valve is rated to 150 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from -45 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide range of plumbing, HVAC, and instrumentation applications. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians are the typical installers.
This needle valve is used in residential and light commercial systems where fine metering of flow is required. The compression-to-male-pipe configuration makes it a common choice for connecting tubing to threaded fittings in refrigeration, fuel gas, water, or pneumatic circuits. The 1/4-inch NPTF thread provides a pressure-tight connection without the need for additional sealant in many configurations. The compact overall dimensions of 1.38 inches in length and 1.76 inches in height allow installation in confined mechanical spaces.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or retrofit needle valve for systems requiring a 3/8-inch compression to 1/4-inch NPTF male pipe angled flow-control valve in brass construction.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any valve. Apply thread sealant appropriate for the media and pressure rating to the NPTF male threads unless the fitting joint is otherwise rated as self-sealing. Verify that the compression ferrule is properly seated on the tubing before torquing the compression nut to avoid leaks.
