The PARKER N19R20A is a string-wound cartridge filter designed for plumbing and water filtration applications. Built with a nylon string-wound construction over a polypropylene core, it delivers 10-micron filtration to remove sediment, rust particles, sand, and other suspended solids from water lines. The cartridge measures 2.5 inches in outside diameter and 20 inches in length, fitting standard filter housings used in residential and light commercial systems. It weighs 0.8 pounds. Plumbers and water treatment technicians install this filter as a primary or pre-filtration stage to protect downstream fixtures, valves, and equipment from particulate contamination.
This cartridge is suited for cold and warm water supply lines where sediment control is required. Typical applications include whole-house filtration systems, point-of-entry water treatment, commercial food service pre-filtration, and industrial process water lines. The 10-micron rating makes it effective at reducing visible turbidity and protecting sensitive downstream components. Maximum working temperature is 120 degrees F, which limits use to cold and warm water service rather than hot water or steam lines.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement cartridge for standard 2.5-inch OD, 20-inch filter housings used in residential and commercial plumbing filtration systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified water treatment technician. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before opening the filter housing to replace the cartridge. Follow local plumbing codes, including IPC guidelines, for potable water filtration installations. Do not exceed the 120 degrees F maximum working temperature rating.
