The PARKER N19R10A is a string-wound cartridge filter designed for plumbing and water filtration applications. It features a 10-micron rating that captures sediment, particulate, and suspended solids from water lines before they reach downstream fixtures, valves, or equipment. The filter body is constructed from nylon with a polypropylene plastic core, providing adequate chemical compatibility for standard water service. At 2.5 inches OD and 10 inches long, it fits standard 10-inch filter housings common in residential and light commercial installations. Plumbers and water treatment technicians are the primary installers of this filter type.
This cartridge filter is suited for residential and light commercial cold-water filtration systems where sediment control is the primary objective. Typical applications include whole-house pre-filtration, point-of-entry sediment reduction, and protection of water heaters, softeners, and fixtures from particulate fouling. The maximum working temperature of 120 degrees F makes it appropriate for cold and cool water lines only. It is not rated for hot water or steam service. Install in a compatible 10-inch filter housing upstream of sensitive plumbing components.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement cartridge for standard 10-inch plumbing filter housings accepting 2.5-inch OD string-wound cartridges.
Installation of this filter cartridge is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified water treatment technicians. Shut off the water supply and relieve line pressure before opening the filter housing. Do not exceed the 120-degree-F maximum working temperature rating. Follow IPC and local plumbing code requirements for filter housing installation and cartridge replacement intervals.
