The PARKER MP11036 is a brass compression tube sleeve designed to create secure, leak-resistant connections in compression tube fittings. The sleeve seats between the compression nut and fitting body, biting into the tube OD to form a pressure-tight mechanical seal without soldering or flaring. Built to SAE J-512 standards, this sleeve is rated for tube outside diameters of 1/2 inch and handles working pressures up to 200 psi. It is suited for plumbing, refrigeration, and fluid-transfer lines where a reliable compression joint is required. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters install this component as part of standard compression fitting assemblies in both service and new-construction work.
This sleeve is used in residential and light commercial applications wherever 1/2 inch OD tubing is joined with compression-style fittings. Common install scenarios include water supply lines, instrumentation tubing, and low-pressure fluid or gas distribution systems operating within the rated temperature range of -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F. The brass construction resists corrosion in typical potable-water and HVAC environments. Each package contains 25 sleeves, making it practical for service trucks and shop inventory.
Designed for use with standard SAE J-512 compression tube fitting assemblies accepting 1/2 inch OD tubing, including compatible compression nuts and fitting bodies of matching tube size and pressure rating.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified HVAC technicians. Shut off and depressurize the line completely before disassembling or installing compression fittings. Ensure the tube end is cut square and deburred before seating the sleeve to achieve a proper seal. Do not over-tighten the compression nut, as this can deform the sleeve and compromise the joint integrity.
