The PARKER MBA30M20 is a thermally bonded meltblown polypropylene filter cartridge rated at 30 microns. It is designed to remove sediment, particulate, and dirt from liquid systems in residential, commercial, and industrial filtration applications. The cartridge measures 20 inches in length with an outside diameter of 2.5 inches, making it a standard-format replacement for common filter housings. Constructed entirely of polypropylene — including the core, media, and outer structure — it supports a maximum flow rate of 10.00 GPM and handles liquid temperatures up to 180 degrees F. Licensed plumbers, water treatment technicians, and mechanical contractors typically install this cartridge.
This cartridge is suited for point-of-entry and point-of-use liquid filtration systems handling sediment and particulate loads. Typical applications include whole-house water filtration, process water pre-filtration, and general-purpose inline filtration where a 30-micron rating provides effective coarse-to-medium particulate control. The all-polypropylene construction makes it compatible with a broad range of liquid media, including potable water systems where chemical resistance and low extractables are important. It is sold individually and is intended as a drop-in replacement for standard 20-inch cartridge housings.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for standard 20-inch meltblown cartridge filter housings used in liquid filtration applications.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or water treatment technician. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure completely before opening the filter housing. Inspect the housing O-ring for wear or damage and replace it if needed before seating the new cartridge. Follow local plumbing codes and the housing manufacturer guidelines for torque and reassembly procedures.
