The PARKER MBA0.5M10 is a thermally bonded meltblown polypropylene filter cartridge rated at 0.5 micron for fine sediment and particulate removal. Measuring 10 inches in length with a 2.5-inch outside diameter, it fits standard cartridge filter housings used in industrial, commercial, and process liquid filtration systems. The all-polypropylene construction — core, media, and outer shell — makes it compatible with a wide range of liquid process streams. At a maximum flow rate of 5.00 GPM and a maximum operating temperature of 180 degrees F, this cartridge handles demanding filtration duties. Licensed plumbers, filtration technicians, and water treatment professionals are the primary installers.
The MBA0.5M10 is suited for applications requiring fine particulate control in liquid systems, including point-of-entry water filtration, process water lines, and equipment protection filtration. The 0.5-micron rating targets fine sediment, dirt, and suspended particulates that can foul downstream components such as valves, membranes, and pumps. Its polypropylene construction resists a broad range of water-based process fluids and mild chemicals, making it a practical choice in light industrial and commercial water treatment setups.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement cartridge for standard 10-inch cartridge filter housings accepting a 2.5-inch outside diameter meltblown cartridge. Rated for use with liquid process streams only.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified filtration technician. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the filter housing completely before removing the spent cartridge. Inspect the housing O-ring for wear and replace if needed before seating the new cartridge. Do not exceed the rated maximum flow rate or operating temperature listed for this cartridge, as doing so may compromise filtration efficiency and cartridge integrity.
