The PARKER LFPP4VME2 is a male elbow, bi-directional manual ball valve designed for 1/8 inch pipe connections. It features a full port design that maintains unrestricted flow through the valve body. The end connection is MNPT x Push-To-Connect, allowing fast, tool-free tube attachment on one side and a threaded male connection on the other. The body is constructed from polypropylene with EPDM seals, making it well suited for fluid handling applications where chemical resistance and compliance with food and drinking water standards are required. Plumbers, pipefitters, and systems installers working on water treatment, filtration, or potable water distribution systems are the primary installers of this valve.
This valve is designed for use in residential and commercial potable water systems, water filtration assemblies, and similar fluid distribution applications. Its wedge-style handle provides a clear open and closed indication. The Push-To-Connect end accepts 1/4 inch outside diameter tubing, making it compatible with common small-bore tubing used in RO systems, ice makers, and under-sink filtration setups. It meets FDA, NSF-51, and NSF-61 standards, confirming suitability for contact with potable water and food-equipment applications.
Designed for use with 1/4 inch outside diameter push-to-connect tubing and 1/8 inch MNPT threaded fittings in potable water, filtration, and food equipment fluid systems meeting FDA, NSF-51, and NSF-61 requirements.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before installing or removing the valve. Ensure MNPT threads are wrapped with appropriate thread sealant tape before making the threaded connection. When inserting tubing into the Push-To-Connect end, the tube must be cut cleanly and squarely and inserted fully to achieve a leak-free seal.
