The PARKER LFPP4VMC4 is a bi-directional manual ball valve designed for 1/4 inch pipe connections in fluid distribution and control applications. It features a full port design that minimizes flow restriction, a polypropylene body for corrosion resistance, and EPDM seals rated for a maximum working pressure of 150 psi (10 bar). The MNPT x push-to-connect end configuration allows for quick, tool-free tube attachment on one end and a threaded male connection on the other. This valve is suited for installation by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and water treatment professionals working with potable water or compatible fluid systems.
This valve is intended for residential and light commercial plumbing, water filtration, and HVAC hydronic applications where a compact, low-flow shutoff or isolation point is needed. The wedge-style handle provides positive tactile feedback for open and closed positions. NSF-51 and NSF-61 certifications make this valve appropriate for potable water contact applications. The 1/4 inch tube outside diameter push-to-connect fitting accepts standard 1/4 inch OD tubing, commonly found in water filtration and refrigeration ice maker supply lines.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation valve for 1/4 inch pipe systems using MNPT x push-to-connect end connections in potable water, filtration, and compatible fluid-handling applications.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before installing or replacing this valve. Apply thread sealant tape to the MNPT threads in accordance with IPC guidelines; do not overtighten the threaded connection into the mating fitting. Ensure the push-to-connect tube end is cut cleanly and squarely before insertion to achieve a proper seal.
