The PARKER LFPP4VFE2 is a female elbow bi-directional manual ball valve designed for 1/8 inch pipe connections in fluid control applications. It features a full-port design with push-to-connect and female NPT (FNPT) ends, allowing flow in either direction without restricting system throughput. The polypropylene body keeps weight low at approximately 0.097 pounds and resists corrosion in wet environments. An EPDM seal provides reliable shutoff across a wide range of compatible media. Rated at 150 psi working pressure, this valve is suited for low-pressure plumbing, water treatment, and instrumentation lines. A wedge handle gives positive tactile feedback on open and closed positions.
This valve is intended for residential and light commercial installations where a compact, elbow-configuration shutoff is needed at a 1/8 inch pipe connection point. Typical applications include water purification systems, reverse osmosis installations, pool and spa equipment lines, and process instrumentation tubing. The push-to-connect inlet simplifies connection to 1/4 inch OD tubing, while the FNPT outlet threads directly onto standard fittings. Licensed plumbers and water treatment technicians are the primary installers. Its NSF-51 and NSF-61 certifications make it appropriate for potable water and food-equipment fluid contact applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation valve for 1/8 inch pipe systems using 1/4 inch OD push-to-connect tubing and standard FNPT fittings. Suitable for water treatment, reverse osmosis, pool, spa, and light commercial plumbing applications requiring NSF-certified components.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified water treatment technician in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off system pressure and depressurize the line before installing or removing the valve. Verify that the push-to-connect tubing OD is 1/4 inch and that the tubing is cut cleanly and squarely before insertion. Do not exceed the 150 psi maximum working pressure rating.
