The PARKER LFPP4VFC4 is a female connector bi-directional manual ball valve designed for 1/4-inch pipe applications. It features a full-port design that minimizes flow restriction and a wedge handle for positive on/off control. The body is constructed from polypropylene with EPDM seals, making it well-suited for potable water, food-service, and light chemical handling applications. It connects via push-to-connect on one end and female NPT (FNPT) on the other. Licensed plumbers and water treatment technicians are the primary installers. The valve is rated to 150 psi (10 bar) working pressure and carries NSF-51, NSF-61, and FDA compliance, meeting requirements for direct food-contact and drinking water systems.
This valve is used in residential and light commercial plumbing, water treatment equipment, and food and beverage systems where a compact, bi-directional shutoff is needed. The push-to-connect inlet simplifies installation in tight spaces or where tubing terminates at a threaded port. The 1/4-inch pipe size suits point-of-use filtration systems, ice makers, RO units, and similar low-flow potable water applications. Its polypropylene construction resists corrosion in wet environments where metal valves are less desirable.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation valve for 1/4-inch push-to-connect and FNPT plumbing assemblies in potable water, filtration, and food-service equipment.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before installation or removal. Ensure the push-to-connect tubing end is cut cleanly and squarely and inserted fully before pressurizing the system. Do not exceed the rated working pressure of 150 psi.
