The PARKER L3C is a pneumatic hose coupling nipple designed for compressed-air and fluid-transfer lines requiring a reliable threaded connection. Built from steel with a zinc chromate finish, this Series 70 nipple features a 1/4-18 female NPTF thread and a 0.25-inch body diameter. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 300 psi and operates across a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F. The L3C is an appropriate drop-in component for industrial and commercial pneumatic systems where a Lincoln Long Stem interchange fitting is specified. Installation is performed by licensed pipefitters, millwrights, or experienced maintenance technicians.

Shut off and bleed all line pressure before disconnecting or installing any pneumatic coupling. Thread engagement should be made hand-tight first, then wrench-tightened using the hex flats — do not grip the body or stem with pipe wrenches. NPTF threads are designed for dry-seal connections; thread sealant is generally not required but may be applied per shop practice. Follow applicable OSHA and ASME B31.1 guidelines for compressed-air piping work.
