The PARKER KP81292 is a male SAE 37-degree JIC rigid hydraulic hose fitting designed for use with 1/2-inch (0.5-inch ID) hydraulic hose assemblies. Manufactured from steel with a straight, threaded connection type, this fitting provides a leak-resistant, vibration-tolerant joint in high-pressure hydraulic systems. The 5/8-14 thread size and 2.62-inch overall length make it a direct, no-modification installation in compatible hose and circuit applications. Licensed hydraulic system technicians and fluid power mechanics install this type of fitting during hose assembly fabrication and equipment repair work.
This fitting is suited for mobile and industrial hydraulic applications where SAE 37-degree JIC connections are specified. The straight configuration is used when a direct in-line connection between the hose end and a port or manifold is required. It is appropriate for both original equipment assembly and field replacement service on hydraulic circuits operating with compatible hose types and working pressures.
Designed for use with Parker 187 TC, ST; 302; 304; 387 TC, ST; 422; 424; 426; 436; 471TC; 471ST; 472TC; 482TC; 482ST; 487 TC, ST; 722 TC, ST; 787 TC, ST; 797 TC, ST; and 881 hoses. Series 43 fitting designation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified fluid power technician or hydraulic system mechanic. Depressurize and bleed the hydraulic system fully before removing or installing any fittings. Inspect the mating JIC cone and seat surfaces for nicks or damage before assembly, as surface defects can cause leaks under pressure. Torque to the fitting and hose manufacturer specifications using calibrated tooling; do not use values from this listing as none were provided in the product data.
