The PARKER KP81277 is a straight male pipe thread (MPT) hose fitting designed for hydraulic hose assemblies. Constructed from steel with an NPTF threaded connection, it provides a pressure-tight seal in hydraulic circuits. The fitting accepts a 1/2-inch (8 mm) hose inside diameter and uses a 3/4-14 thread size. At 2.68 inches in overall length, it is a compact, straight-body fitting suited for direct hose-to-port connections. Hydraulic technicians and fluid power mechanics install this type of fitting when building or repairing hose assemblies on mobile equipment, industrial machinery, and fluid transfer systems.
This fitting is intended for use with Parker hydraulic hose series including 187, 302, 304, 387, 422, 424, 426, 436, 471TC, 471ST, 472TC, 482TC, 482ST, 487, 722, 787, 797, and 881 hoses. It is suited for applications across a range of operating environments where a steel, threaded MPT end connection is required at the hose-to-component interface. The straight configuration makes it appropriate for installations where hose routing allows a direct inline connection without offset or angled adapters.
Compatible with Parker hose series 187, 302, 304, 387, 422, 424, 426, 436, 471TC, 471ST, 472TC, 482TC, 482ST, 487, 722, 787, 797, and 881 in 1/2-inch (8 mm) inside diameter.
Hydraulic hose assembly and fitting installation should be performed by a qualified fluid power technician or hydraulic mechanic. Depressurize and bleed down the hydraulic system fully before removing or installing any fittings or hose ends. NPTF dryseal threads are designed to seal on the thread form itself; inspect threads for damage before assembly and avoid cross-threading. Follow the equipment manufacturer's torque and assembly specifications for the hose series being used.
