The PARKER KP80003 is a female Seal-Lok swivel short fitting designed for use with hydraulic hose assemblies in high-pressure fluid power systems. Constructed from steel, this straight fitting uses a threaded Seal-Lok connection to provide a leak-resistant, face-seal interface between the hose end and a mating port. It accepts a 3/8 inch (0.375 inches) inside diameter hose and threads onto a 13/16-16 port. At 2.0 inches overall length, the short-body design suits installations where clearance is limited. Licensed plumbers and hydraulic system technicians working on mobile or industrial equipment are the typical installers.
This fitting is suited for use in hydraulic systems requiring a reliable swivel connection at the hose-to-port junction. The Seal-Lok face-seal design eliminates thread-dependent sealing, reducing the risk of leaks in high-vibration or high-cycle applications. It is compatible with a wide range of Parker hydraulic hose types, making it a common choice in industrial, mobile, and agricultural hydraulic assemblies where standardized hose end fittings are specified.
Designed for use with Parker hose series 187 TC, ST; 302; 304; 387 TC, ST; 422; 424; 426; 436; 471TC; 471ST; 472TC; 482TC; 482ST; 487 TC, ST; 722 TC, ST; 787 TC, ST; 797 TC, ST; and 881 hoses.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or licensed fluid power professional. Depressurize and isolate the hydraulic circuit completely before disconnecting any hose or fitting. Inspect the face-seal surface and mating port for damage or contamination before assembly. Torque to the fitting manufacturer's published specification for the thread size; do not rely on feel alone, and do not overtighten, as damage to the face-seal surface will cause leaks.
