The PARKER KP79149 is a 90-degree male elbow pipe fitting designed for high-pressure industrial piping systems. Constructed from steel, it connects two male NPT-threaded lines at a right angle, redirecting flow without reducing port size. Both ends carry a 1-inch MNPT thread, and the fitting is rated to 3,000 psi maximum working pressure. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians install this type of fitting in compressed air, hydraulic, and fluid-transfer lines where a directional change is required and full-thread engagement on both mating ports is necessary.
This fitting is suited for industrial and commercial piping applications where steel construction and a 3,000 psi pressure rating are required. Typical installations include compressed air distribution headers, hydraulic supply and return lines, and general fluid-conveyance systems. The MNPT x MNPT configuration means both ports thread directly into female NPT-tapped ports or female NPT couplings. No flare, ferrule, or compression sleeve is required. Sold in a package of 2 units per order.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service fitting for industrial piping systems that use 1-inch female NPT-tapped connections and require a 90-degree directional change at pressures up to 3,000 psi.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter or plumber in accordance with applicable ASME and ANSI piping codes. Depressurize and drain the line completely before removing any existing fitting. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads before installation. Do not overtighten threaded connections; tighten to hand-tight plus the number of turns specified by the thread sealant manufacturer and the pipe schedule being used.
