The PARKER KP17700 is a 90-degree flared tube elbow fitting manufactured from steel, designed to connect tubing to NPTF-threaded ports in hydraulic and fluid power systems. It features a 37-degree flare end on the tube side and a 3/8-18 NPTF thread on the port side, providing a leak-resistant metal-to-metal seal under high-pressure conditions. The KP17700 is used in hydraulic lines, fluid transfer systems, and compressed-air plumbing where a 90-degree change of direction is needed between a 5/8-inch OD flared tube and an NPTF-threaded port. It is appropriate for both industrial and mobile equipment installations. The 37-degree flare seat conforms to SAE standard flare geometry and provides a positive mechanical seal without relying on thread sealant alone.
