The PARKER KP17552 is a steel flared tube sleeve designed for use in high-pressure hydraulic and fluid-power tubing assemblies. It creates a secure 37-degree flare connection at the tube end, conforming to SAE J514 and ISO 8434-2 standards. The sleeve fits 5/8-inch outside diameter tubing and delivers a maximum working pressure of 7,500 psi and a maximum working temperature of 500 degrees F (260 degrees C). Licensed plumbers, hydraulic technicians, and fluid-power mechanics use this fitting wherever a reliable, leak-resistant flare joint is required in steel tubing runs.
This sleeve is suited for industrial hydraulic systems, fluid-power circuits, and high-pressure plumbing lines that require SAE-standard 37-degree flare fittings. It is commonly installed in mobile equipment, manufacturing machinery, and process-fluid lines where tube OD sizing and flare angle conformance are critical to joint integrity. The compact 0.66-inch overall length keeps the fitting footprint minimal in tight routing environments. Each package contains four sleeves.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service component for 37-degree SAE flare tube assemblies using 5/8-inch OD steel tubing that conform to SAE J514 and ISO 8434-2 standards.
Installation of flared tube fittings should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or licensed plumber familiar with SAE flare assembly procedures. Depressurize and drain the fluid circuit completely before disassembling any fittings. Inspect the tube end for burrs or ovality before seating the sleeve, as surface defects will compromise the flare seal. Follow SAE J514 assembly guidelines for proper flare-nut torque values and tube preparation.
