The PARKER HN4S-AUG is an adsorber-type compressed air filter designed to remove oil vapor, hydrocarbons, and odors from compressed air lines. It uses an adsorptive media bed to deliver clean, dry air downstream of a compressor or dryer system. The unit features a 1 inch NPT port with NPT end connections, handles up to 100 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM), and includes an automatic drain for hands-free condensate removal. The bowl and body are constructed from aluminum, keeping weight low while maintaining durability in industrial environments. This filter is installed by licensed pipefitters, industrial maintenance technicians, and compressed air system specialists.
The HN4S-AUG is suited for industrial and commercial compressed air systems requiring removal of residual oil vapor and hydrocarbon contamination after primary filtration and drying stages. It belongs to the Parker Series H filter line and is typically positioned as a final polishing stage in multi-filter compressed air treatment trains. Applications include paint finishing, food-grade air supply, instrumentation, and any process where oil-free air is critical. The automatic drain reduces maintenance intervals and prevents bowl flooding in high-condensate environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard service unit for Parker Series H compressed air filter stations with 1 inch NPT porting.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter or compressed air systems technician. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air line before removing or installing any filter housing. Ensure inlet and outlet flow direction matches the arrow or markings on the filter body. Thread connections should be sealed with appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape in compliance with applicable mechanical and piping codes.
