The PARKER HN3S-AUG is an adsorber-type compressed air filter designed to remove oil vapor, hydrocarbon vapors, and odors from compressed air lines. Built around an adsorptive media stage, it delivers clean, dry-quality air suitable for sensitive downstream processes and instrumentation. The unit handles up to 80 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) and connects via 3/4 inch NPT end connections. An automatic drain eliminates the need for manual bowl servicing during normal operation. The aluminum bowl and body construction keeps weight low while maintaining durability in industrial environments. Licensed HVAC technicians, industrial maintenance mechanics, and pneumatic system technicians are the typical installers.
The HN3S-AUG is suited for industrial and commercial compressed air systems where hydrocarbon contamination or odor must be controlled before air reaches tools, valves, actuators, or instrumentation. Typical installation points include point-of-use filter stations, air preparation assemblies, and upstream of sensitive pneumatic controls. It is part of Parker's H Series filter line and is sized for systems requiring moderate flow capacity at 3/4 inch ported connections.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and direct-fit unit for Parker H Series compressed air filter assemblies using 3/4 inch NPT ported connections in industrial and commercial pneumatic systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified industrial maintenance technician or pipefitter familiar with compressed air system safety practices. Depressurize and lock out the air supply line before installing or servicing the filter. Apply thread sealant to NPT connections per facility standards and verify all fittings are leak-free before returning the system to pressure. Observe local and facility compressed air system codes when integrating into an existing air preparation assembly.
